Nesta 73° cerimônia do Golden Globe Awards 2016, foram premiadas 11 categorias para a TV e 15 categorias para o Cinema, incluindo o Prêmio Cecil B. DeMille, que homenageia uma personalidade por sua contribuição no cinema. A premiação deste ano foi especial para nós brasileiros, pois tínhamos Wagner Moura indicado ao prêmio de Melhor ator em série dramática com sua atuação em Narcos, mas infelizmente ele não levou o prêmio. Fica pra próxima Moura, a segunda temporada já foi confirmada para 2016 !
Os Prêmios Globo de Ouro (Golden Globe Awards) são entregues desde 1944 pela Associação de Correspondentes Estrangeiros de Hollywood (Hollywood Foreign Press Association). A premiação está entre as maiores honras que um profissional pode receber, ao lado dos prêmios Emmy e Oscar.
